The Guildhall & Sir Christopher Wren Hotel, Windsor

August

Anna & Justin had planned a stunning August wedding in Windsor. They got married at The Guildhall, my favourite registry office ever. Not just because of the fantastic location, the HUGE windows pouring light into the room and the grand decor including massive portraits of the royal family. But because I got married there too! Anna & Justin were incredible relaxed & enjoyed every moment of the ceremony. The flower girls were hilarious and had all attendees in hysterics. After the ceremony Anna, Justin & all their guests stayed for a group photo in the ceremony room.

Confetti followed outside and without delay Anna & Justin jumped into their convertible Morris Minor (co-incidentally my first ever car!) and drove off to The Christhopher Wren Hotel adjacent to the river. I whisked them off to the bridge over the Thames to take some couple portraits. With the wind picking up and the possibility of rain, we headed back to the hotel so they could be treated by their huddle of guests.

Unfortunately, as the heavens opened, so did the plan of an al fresco wedding breakfast, however breaks in the rain and outside shelter at The Christopher Wren Hotel, meant I was able to get some lovely, lush, colourful group shots. The BBQ was moved inside the hotel and after the speeches, the guests enjoyed a delicious meal. The plan was for Anna, Justin & the guests to stroll beside the river to party the night away on a boat. But as there were still showers, Justin called an Uber to drive them to the boat. I left them on the boat with all their guests ready to enjoy their first dance.

Absolutely love them! Thank you so much!
