Charlotte & Aaron did an amazing job organising their wedding and on a budget too. Their venue, The York Club in Windsor Great Park, is a dry hire venue, although it has a bar. So they arranged the catering, serving staff, lay out table & chairs, decorating the room etc etc.
We started their photography journey with an engagement shoot in Alexandra Gardens & Baths Island in Windsor with views over the Thames & onto Windsor Castle.
Charlotte got ready for her big day at her Mum’s house in Ascot with the rest of her Bridal party. Her lovely lilac theme reflected in everything, her Mum even painted the table in the garden! Charlotte arrive at the Church in a VW camper van with her Dad & Bridesmaids. Aaron was patiently waiting for her at the top of the aisle. The church came alive with singing and clapping as all their guests joined in to the classic & lively hymn Shine Jesus Shine. After the beautiful ceremony Charlotte & Aaron were showered in confetti as they left the Church. After some pictures at the Church, everyone made their way to Windsor Great Park to their beautiful wedding venue.
The weather was stunning & everyone enjoyed drinks on the terrace & lawn. With lots of group & candid photos taken it was time for guests to get their food from the Mexican food van, the most delicious burritos! The Tables were decorated by Aaron’s Mum & sister with a Harry Potter name for each table & a mixture of games & sweets as the colourful centrepieces. The speeches followed with lots of laughter & tears. At the beginning of the evening, Charlotte had a clothing adjustment that removed the over skirt of her dress to reveal a fishtail skirt underneath. The newlyweds took to the dance floor for their first dance & then partied the night away to cracking music from their brilliant band who got everyone on the dance floor.
