Georgina & James

Easthampstead Park, Berkshire

September

The first time I photographed Georgie & James was for their engagement shoot at Virginia Water, it was the perfect location as they had been there years before and carved their initials into a tree, so we made sure that was included in the photos.

The morning of the wedding Georgina and her bridesmaids got ready in a fantastic room at Easthampstead that is wonderful for photos, huge windows, beautifully decorated, attractive mirrors and extra features that make my job so much easier! When James and his convoy arrived I took some pictures out the from of the building, which lends it’s self perfectly to this.

The ceremony room again has these huge windows so the light doors through them and lit everything beautifully. On Georgina’s way to the ceremony she walked down the amazing staircase with a biggest stained glass window I have ever seen! This was another beautiful spot for photos, so I made sure we returned later on with James too. The ceremony was lovely with not a dry eye in the house. Reception drinks followed on the terrace & lawn and the waterfall provided a perfect backdrop for some of the photos. The grounds are scattered with perfect photo opportunities and Georgina and James were more than happy to have pictures in all of them. The wedding breakfast was delicious, I was lucky enough to enjoy the same meal and the speeches lead to lots of laughter. After the meal there was the bouquet throw, aimed perfectly at Georgie’s sister, the cutting of the cake, then the first dance.

Everything went perfectly and Geogina & James make the perfect couple. I look forward to seeing them for newborn photos very soon!!
