Marc was tasked with one main job for his & Hollie’s wedding & that was to find the photographer. Clearly Marc excelled himself! We started our photo journey with an engagement shoot just down the road from their wedding venue in Burnham Beeches. It was the perfect opportunity for Hollie & Marc to ‘practice’ having their photo taken, relax in front of the camera and most importantly get some stunning shots before their wedding.
Hollie & Marc lucked out with the weather on their wedding day, it was super sunny, yet not too hot. Hollie, her Mum & her bridesmaids got ready at Burnham Beeches Hotel which was the perfect setting for them to all relax away from the preparations going on at Tudor Barn. Hot pink was the colour of the day from the bridesmaids dress, Marc’s bow tie and both Hollie’s & Marc’s shoes. That being said, Hollie opted to go barefoot for most of the day.
The ceremony at The Tudor Barn in Burnham was held outside. Both Marc’s parents and other family members are deaf and two of them are blind as well, so an interpreter helped them throughout the ceremony and during speeches too. The spacious outside setting helped make this easier. It was a beautiful ceremony with lots of tears, but full of laughter too. The sunny drinks reception took place on the lawns at Tudor Barn where Hollie & Marc had arranged for lots of outside games to keep everyone entertained; young and old. The grounds at Tudor Barn have some stunning spots for photos particularly due to it being an old Convent and some of the features remain.
After the wedding breakfast the speeches ensured many more tears and laughter. Hollie & Marc then cut their delicious cake made by one of Hollie’s Bridesmaids. The evening reception started back outside on the lawn and finished on the dance floor in the barn with the DJ playing some classic tunes to get everyone on their feet!
