Lauren & Bob

Lauren & Bob’s wedding date was a long time coming, delayed multiple times, this was the forth date but Lauren was determined that 2^rd July 2021 would be the date, whatever the restrictions!

Lauren got ready at Lythe Hill Hotel with her Mum & Bridesmaid Nancy. Unfortunately her other bridesmaid Lauren (yes 3 Lauren/Loren’s!!) lives in Australia so was unable to travel. But that didn’t stop her staying up all night & getting dressed up in her bridesmaid dress to join in the preparations & the whole day via video call. Whilst getting ready Lauren’s room has French doors that looked out onto the wedding gazebo by the lake that she would later be married in.

Once all their guests were seated, Lauren, Heidi & her Father took the long, but exciting, walk from her room down to the wedding gazebo where Bob was waiting in anticipation to see his beautiful fiancé. The ceremony was the perfect setting in the fresh air & warm, but not too sunny weather in the picturesque grounds of the hotel. After the ceremony Lauren & Bob were showered in confetti by their guests who lined the path back up to the hotel.

After a drinks reception with canapes & some group photos everyone was seated for a delicious meal. 2 readings and a selection of speeches followed & had everyone in stitches. Following this I whisked Lauren & Bob off for some pictures on their own in the hotel grounds. As the evening was beginning they cut their cake before taking to the dance floor for their first dance. Due to covid restrictions at the time they were the only people allowed to dance inside. But this was not a problem as they had a fantastic band, Ear Candy, Oxford, who got everyone dancing outside as they played some fantastic songs you couldn’t resist dancing along to. The Stone Photos photo booth was a fun addition to the evening & ensured there were some fantastic pictures of all the guests with some crazy props to add to the hilarity.
