Sarah & Rory

Notley Tythe Barn

June

Sarah & Rory planned a very laid back wedding, they wanted to break with tradition and started this by all getting ready together in a nearby hotel. It meant their baby daughter could be there with both of them and the usual apprehension of seeing each other for the first time at ‘the alter’ was not an issue.

Sarah’s Father drove her to Notley Tythe Barn in his rather quirky Hot Rod, this proved to be a small worry for Sarah as it has no doors and she needed to climb through the window! To ensure her dress stayed clean, the car was covered in protective film on the passengers side. As the guests gathered on the lawn for the outdoor ceremony, the Hot Rod flew up the long drive and everyone could hear Sarah arriving. Sarah’s Father walked her from the car up the aisle to Rory eagerly awaiting his bride. It was a perfect setting, the weather just right.

After the ceremony the guests enjoyed a drinks reception on the lawn, whilst I took some group photos and then later whisked Sarah & Rory off for some couple photos. They also enjoyed some photos with their daughter, however they are very private about her so I am only showing you pictures without her face showing. The other children in the meantime were enjoying running around & playing.

The wedding breakfast was preceded by speeches. After this they enjoyed their meal with some of the delicious food originating from the farm next door! Once their food had gone down Sarah & Rory surprised everyone with a ceilidh and everyone took to the dance floor to dance the night away!
