So Happy to be back Photographing Weddings!
Happy 1 month anniversary to Alice & Tim. Their fun filled wedding last month was the most amazing & well organised DIY wedding I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. The attention to detail & the commitment from family meant their wedding was a complete success.
Originally planned for 120 guests, Tim & Alice planned the whole thing during lockdown. Not perturbed by having to reduce the numbers to 30, T & A (their monogram was abundant on their wedding day) created fantastic stationary, table plans, menus, signs etc.
Their reception venue cancelled with 9 days notice! But not to let that both them, they & their family rallied around & held the reception in Tim’s parent’s garden. Decorating walls with reels of voile and tables & chairs with covers, flowers & balloons.
T & A made their own wedding cake & stand. They made a top tier cake, plus 3 types of individual cakes/cookies. They even printed a menu with diagrams of how to make the cakes.
Food was a fish & chip van that parked in the driveway to serve some fantastic grub. The only over sight was gravy for the Northerners! (but that was quickly whipped up in the kitchen).
Unexpectedly the families pet chickens were a popular after dinner attraction & a petting zoo soon emerged. T & A however are not fans of the chickens, so avoided them as much as possible.
My favourite part of the day was the hilarious speeches, capturing the each & every guests laughing.
