Wedding Photography
My Style
For a modern, enjoyable approach to Wedding Photography, Stone Photos’ style is very relaxed, allowing you to enjoy your day with little interruption. We can capture your day from make-up to first dance and present you with a stunning selection of images that tell the story of your special day. Stone Photos introduces Loren as an experienced and fully qualified photographer, who will help the bride & groom feel relaxed, resulting in happy, natural shots. She will discuss your precise needs before the event and ensure that they are translated into stunning and memorable photographs. Her aim is to blend in and photograph your day as it unfolds, with your choice of formal shots too.
Prices start from £600 to photograph your Wedding with a choice of different packages designed to suit your needs. All our packages include professionally edited images in high resolution on USB or Digital Download. Also included is a private webpage to view and share your wedding photos with your guests, this will be available for 6 months and guests will be able to buy pictures online.
Loren will aim to have all your photos edited and ready for you to see on your private webpage just 3-6 weeks after your wedding, so there is no waiting around with anticipation to see your pictures. She will even include a few sneak peeks sooner than that.
You can opt to have a 2nd photographer for your day. They can cover the groom & groomsmen preparations, which ties in nicely with your bridal prep pictures. They’ll take photos from different vantage points during the ceremony and then whilst you are enjoying your group shots, the 2nd photographer will be able to capture your guests relaxing and enjoying the day. If you choose, the 2nd photographer can also stay after the meal to capture speech reactions, evening guests and your first dance.
Engagement Portraits
Engagement photos are one thing to do with your wedding that doesn’t involve much planning or effort, just spend some quality time with your partner, busy being in love. This is the perfect chance to practice in front of the camera and we’ll get to know each other that little bit more. It will give you a good insight into what you think looks great & make sure we recreate that on your special day.

What to Expect
CONSULTATION
If possible I like to meet couples prior to them booking, to make sure we all get on and are on the right wave length. You can come to my studio where I will show you examples of whole weddings I have photographed and we can chat about all the exciting details of your day and answer any questions you may have. If you can’t come to my studio I am happy to come to you or meet up for a drink somewhere.
BOOKING
After the consultation, in order to book, you will need to sign a contract and pay the booking fee which must be paid in order to hold your date. The booking fee is £200 whichever package you book, so even if you are still a bit unsure which package you’d like, you can book the basic package and I will still be contracted for your day. Your final payment will be due 1 month before your wedding.
IMAGE DELIVERY
You should receive your wedding images within 3-6 weeks of your special day. Your images will be delivered to you on USB or as downloadable images and in an online gallery for you to share with your friends and family (these stay online for 6 months). Your images will be royalty free and un-watermarked so you may print them as much as you wish for personal use.
Please have a look at our gallery and contact us for more details.

FAQs
Are you a full time photographer?
Yes, I am a full time, self employed photographer and am a qualified member of the the British Institute for Professional Photographers.
How would you describe your style?
My style is natural, creative and relaxed. I like to capture your day as it happens, documenting the intimate moments but also the fun everyone is having. When photographing the couples portraits I will give a little direction, but I make sure it stays natural and you both feel relaxed and have fun.
Do you have insurance?
Yes absolutely! I am fully insured for public liability and professional indemnity.
How far in advance do we need to book you?
I would advise booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment, I have taken bookings 2 1/2 years before a wedding, but also just 1 month before, so get in touch as soon as you have your venue booked.
How much do you charge for your booking fee?
I have a booking fee of £200 to reserve the date of your wedding. This fee is non refundable as it is to guarantee that I will hold the date exclusively for you.
When is the final payment due?
The final payment is due on or before 4 weeks before your wedding.
How long will you stay for on the wedding day?
I can be there as long as you want me. I have different package options based on how long I will be there, however you can add extra hours if you would like me there for longer.
How many photographs will you take?
I don’t stop taking photographs other than during the wedding breakfast, so the amount is unlimited.
How many images will we receive?
There is no set number of images but you will get all the best ones from your day. On average, you can expect roughly 600-1000 from a full day’s wedding coverage. All of these come with a full personal print licence and in both high and low resolution, ready for printing or sharing online.
Do all of the photos get edited?
Yes, every single image presented to you will be edited in my signature style.
Can I print the images myself?
Yes, you will be given the digital images with no watermarks and full personal print licence. As is standard for a photographer, I will retain the copyrights to the images, which allow me to use them for self promotional purposes.
How long will it take until we receive our images?
Typically it will take 2-5 weeks for your images to be ready after the wedding day but this can increase during busier times. Your online gallery will be set up first and the link and password sent to you so you can start sharing the photos with your friends and family. The gallery is password-protected and has a secure shopping facility to purchase prints from. I will then post your USB to you about a week later. If you have ordered an album, we will have a chat about these once you have received all your images.
Do we need to feed you at the reception?
Yes please, if I am staying for the evening reception. I will need to eat & drink to stay fuelled as it is a very long day and I can not function without it. I will eat away from your wedding breakfast in a side room. If you are having a 2nd photographer, please can you feed them too.
Do you do group shots?
Yes, of course. This is the one time you have all your loved ones together and makes for some lasting memories with family and friends. However I will make them short and informal to keep your day relaxed. If possible I would recommend 2 hours (1 ½ hours at the least) for reception drinks so that you have time for these and time to spend with your guests.
We are nervous about having our pictures taken and don’t want to feel too posed.
This is completely fine, and more common than you probably think! I don’t like fake reactions in photos and overly posed formal shots either. How I work is to just be there, to watch and to anticipate those moments that you actually want to see in your photographs. I have learned how to observe people and to capture the reactions that are really going to make you smile when you see the photos after! This is often why engagement shoots are a good idea; it gives you a chance to get used to being in front of the camera and to realise it’s actually not as painful as you’d think! When we go for photos with the two of you I might do a small bit of directing. Simple things, such as to get you to stand in a certain spot or show you some simple poses. It will be very relaxed, the aim being for you to react naturally, be comfortable and have fun! After all, it is your wedding day and you want to enjoy your time, not end up feeling stressed about the photos.
Do you do Engagement Sessions?
I do a lot of engagement shoots as it is a great way to connect and get to know each other better, as well as giving you the opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera, getting a feel for what it will be like on your wedding day. Engagement shoots cost £50 & include a digital image of your choice. They can be at your wedding venue or another location. Prints & digital images can be purchased online from your private web gallery. So if you want to use them for a save the date card, wedding invitation or a guest book, you can.
What happens if it rains on the day?
Although most people dream of a beautiful sunny day, in England, this can never be guaranteed. When we have the pre-wedding me up, we can discus where we can take pictures if the weather is inclement. In the event that it is raining on your wedding day do not fret, I carry a wedding umbrella that we can use and although I might get a bit wet, I would rather continue to capture great images for you and make the most of the surroundings. Plus some pictures can be enhanced by the rain!
What happens if you are ill on the day?
I will power through!…I won’t let feeling unwell stop me or interfere with your special day. In a more serious scenario, I maintain relationships with other wedding photographers who can offer standby support if such an event was to unfortunately occur.
Are travel costs included?
Yes, travel is included within a 25 mile radius of Maidenhead. I do photograph weddings further afield, however travel expenses would need to be discussed prior to booking.
We would like to book you, what do we need to do?
That’s fabulous! I am very happy you would like me to be your photographer. Give me a call or drop me an email and I will email you an invoice for the booking fee along with my contract for you to sign.
