The first time I photographed Katie & Matt was for their engagement shoot with their adorable dog Luna. We took a walk from their house to the beautiful grounds nearby and got some great photos of the 3 of them.

When it came to their wedding day at Lillibrooke Manor, it couldn’t all go 100% plan but only because it was SO incredibly hot!! Katie & her bridal party got ready in the Manor House, which was luckily nice & cool. Matt & his groomsmen got fully dressed as last minute as possible. Katie had always planned to wear her bright yellow & blue flip flops & I bet she was pleased she did! These went perfectly with their colour theme of lots of beautiful, bright, vibrant colours.

For the ceremony Matt & his Best Man kicked the ‘show’ off by walking down the aisle together, a lovely idea because, believe it or not, it is the Groom’s day too. Luna was the guest of honour & she ‘signed’ the marriage certificate with her paw print to give her approval. The celebrant lead wedding was arrange & conducted by Sam who created a beautiful, emotional & fun celebration of their lives so far.

After the ceremony the couple were swamped by colourful confetti & it has to be said you can NEVER have too much confetti, it looked amazing (I even had a load down my top!). Whilst their guests enjoyed the drinks reception and special cider in the Cloisters Garden, Katie & Matt has some pictures with Luna in the shade of the Manor House garden before she was whisked off out of the heat. Victoria’s Ice Cream Cart was a very welcome addition to the drinks reception, cooling everyone off.

As the couple were announced into the Main Barn for their wedding breakfast, they went straight to cut their cake, made by friends, before heading to their seats for speeches & food. Towards the end of the meal everyone, apart from Katie, were surprised by singing waiters who delighted the guests with there amazing vocals and got everyone up & dancing. The atmosphere was electric!

As the sun started to go down, I wished Katie & Matt off for some more photos making the most of the golden light. They then partied the night away with a first dance & lots of subsequent dancing….and more confetti!
